July Cura Newsletter – Creativity, Culture and Connection
Our July edition celebrates creativity, learning, and togetherness across the CURA community. From Paint and Sip afternoons to Creative Wednesday collages, our clients have been exploring their artistic side — proving that joy and creativity thrive at every age.
This month, we also highlight our Purple Road Luncheon, featuring guest speaker Sherryl from the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre, who shared powerful insights about elder abuse awareness and prevention. Plus, our talented group of knitters and crocheters have been busy creating a stunning flower-filled blanket to support the cause.
We also joined in the spirit of NAIDOC Week, honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through a basket-weaving workshop that brought stories, connection, and reflection to life.
With plenty more gatherings and social events ahead, there’s never been a better time to get involved and stay connected with the CURA family.
