CVS Volunteer ‘Your Brain Matters’ Workshop – June 2019

Our Volunteers enjoyed the Your Brain Matters Workshop in June.

This interesting session was very well delivered with a lot of information and videos regarding how to maximise your brain health to reduce the risk of Dementia.

The following  5 simple steps were explained in detail:

  1. Look after your heart
  2. Do some kind of physical activity
  3. Mentally challenge your brain
  4. Follow a healthy diet
  5. Enjoy social activities

This informative session was presented by Ruth and Maggie from Fortis.
